I didn't take on an intentional mindfulness project, but found myself naturally wanting less when I swapped out TV for Netflix (no ads!).

One thing I'm consciously being mindful of now is time I spend in front of a computer screen. I've got so many more hours each day when my husband and I decide to have screen-free weekends! :) Life is so much more stressful when not bogged down by trying to keep up on social media, email, etc.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01212228308225991239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-566179322917568700.post-18809571314145028122016-04-17T11:54:43.690-03:002016-04-17T11:54:43.690-03:00Getting the excess out sounds like a great plan. Maier fixes the tipping point (for the US anyway) to the Johnson administration. That's when we went from being an empire of production to an empire of consumption. Ronald Reagan's zeal for consumer growth took it to a whole new level. The tide may be turning, but it's a slow turning.

A tiny house, in my opinion, does not need granite counter tops....Emergefithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04239697117023845971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-566179322917568700.post-91231048631777447132016-04-15T16:26:08.731-03:002016-04-15T16:26:08.731-03:00Absolutely, a paradigm change is what we need.Absolutely, a paradigm change is what we need.HappinessSavouredHot (Julie Saint-Mleux)https://www.blogger.com/profile/10440062323314751611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-566179322917568700.post-55318429478271616352016-04-15T16:25:45.800-03:002016-04-15T16:25:45.800-03:00Hmmm, you're giving me ideas for a future busi...Hmmm, you're giving me ideas for a future business. :-)HappinessSavouredHot (Julie Saint-Mleux)https://www.blogger.com/profile/10440062323314751611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-566179322917568700.post-86409763099819708242016-04-15T14:53:00.487-03:002016-04-15T14:53:00.487-03:00Very well said!
